Configuration Station

Legalize Recreational Configuration! I like to see what I can do. I will do some configs for real stuff and a large amount of playing with fire.
Recreational Configuration Projects
- EMACS. I love making my own modes
- NGINX and Apache (Ugh.... Apache)
- Breaking things with whacky configs
- Writing my own configs for my own projects or just daydreaming.
EMACS. Or how I learned to love the modes
I love writing modes and learning to configure EMACS. I'm not good at it so if you are going to judge me make it good. LISP is really cool and I wan't to get better with it. I have a few projects I've started and they are mostly working.
Current Branches
- 8-bit atari mode. This will have its own sprite preview and editor. I almost have it working and will post
more about it after I get my initial site building out of the way.
- NES mode. Same as above really. I guess you could better classify all of this as processor modes but
I like feeling special. 6502, z80, etc.
- Bind9/Named configuration mode. I thought it would be cool to build a configuration mode for Bind so it makes
editing zone files easier and less likely to forget to update the serial numbers for clusters. More on that
later though.
- Squid Proxy and ACL modes for editing config files. Also pre-built snippets to make it a breeze
NGINX and Apache
I'll be honest. I just want to have a repository of templates for these so I can copy paste and make my life less of a joke when I can't remember how to properly configure them. :D Also updating them as new releases come out.
Current Branches
- Just a placeholder for now..... Coming soon
Breaking things
I have not broken anything yet..... That I'm willing to admit
Current Branches
- This I need to re-org badly. I switched from my Windoze system to linux. Its a mess
- I believe I was still learning about pointers.
- A ton of this I want to program in FASM. I LOVE ASSEMBLY
Configuration FreeWriting
Just exactly what it sounds like. Its the junk drawer of this page
Current Branches
- I promise things are coming.
Stay frosty out there.
